It’s a project we’ve all been anticipating; something we all would like to see — a ReBoot film. We’ve been told that there’s one in the works. It’s all been very hush-hush. This site will be the conduit for Rainmaker to address the fans. As for the loyal fan base, you’re important to the final success of what’s in store for Mainframe.
The original series was a landmark in animated television history. Over the course of four seasons, the storylines grew and developed into something that far exceeded its early potential: what started out as a show for young teens turned into an epic serialized adventure.
From the glory days of the original televised series to the quiet times of syndication to the re-awakening of the relaunch, the fans of ReBoot have been abfab. You folks just never gave up on the show and have held out hope for its return. So stand up and take a bow! (No one’s watching)
WHAT?! That’s right! ReBoot had a ride. If you were one of those lucky enough to partake of this experience, you could strap yourself into the immersive IMAX ride that made its debut in Ontario and ended on the strip in Vegas. What fun, pip!
Yes, ReBoot was the original transmedia property (go read your Henry Jenkins), busting out as a cool game developed by Electronic Arts in 1998. Copies are hard to come by, but if you can find one on eBay, it might be time to dust off that ancient PlayStation for some retro fun.
Some people say “no news is good news”… but what the heck do they know? There have been a LOT of inquiries from fandom regarding the release of a DVD box set that encompasses the entire ReBoot universe. We wish we had better news for you… or at least any news!
